Pride Vermont Launches new fundraiser with local businesses
BURLINGTON, VT — Pride Vermont is proud to announce a new community partnership with local businesses across Burlington to support 2026 Pride celebrations through the Solidarity Band initiative.
The Solidarity Band fundraiser offers community members and visitors a visible way to show support for Vermont’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community while driving local commerce. By purchasing a wristband at participating local shops, venues, and eateries throughout Burlington, wearers unlock special community perks while directly funding the annual Pride Vermont Parade, Festival, and year-round programming.
"Pride is built on community solidarity, and our local business partners play a vital role in making Burlington an inclusive, welcoming environment for all," said Pride Vermont organizers. "The Solidarity Band initiative bridges community support with local economic vitality, ensuring that our celebration remains accessible, vibrant, and sustainable."
Proceeds from every wristband sold go directly toward sustaining Pride Vermont's 501(c)(3) nonprofit community mission, including parade logistics, festival setup, accessible programming, and safety measures for Vermont's annual state-wide Pride celebration.
Members of the public can learn more about the initiative, view participating Burlington business locations, and order wristbands directly online by visiting pridevt.org/solidarity-band.
