Terms & Conditions

The rules of the road for Pride Vermont's website and events

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Pride Vermont website and your participation in Pride Vermont events. By using this site or attending our events, you agree to the terms described below. Pride Vermont is a volunteer-led, community-powered coalition.

1. Use of This Website

This site is provided for general information about Pride Vermont's parade, festival, and community programs. You agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems. Content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may update or remove content at any time without notice.

2. Donations, Registrations & Refund Policy

Donations to Pride Vermont are generally considered final and non-refundable, as they directly support a 501(c)(3) nonprofit project. If you believe a donation was made in error (such as a duplicate charge), please contact info@PrideVT.org and we will work to resolve it. Fees for vendor registrations, Pride Guide advertising, or other paid participation may be refundable up to a stated deadline; after that deadline they are non-refundable. Specific refund terms for each paid opportunity are shared at the point of registration.

3. Anti-Harassment & Code of Conduct

Pride Vermont is committed to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or violence of any kind — in person or online — will not be tolerated at our events or in our digital spaces. This includes conduct based on race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or any other identity.

We expect all attendees, volunteers, vendors, performers, and staff to treat one another with respect. Event organizers may ask anyone engaging in harassing or unsafe behavior to leave an event. To report an incident or request support, contact info@PrideVT.org or a designated organizer on site.

4. Photo & Media Release

Pride Vermont is a public celebration, and photographers and videographers may be present at our events to document and share the experience. By attending a Pride Vermont event, you acknowledge that your image or voice may be captured and used by Pride Vermont for promotional, archival, and educational purposes, including on this website and social media, without further consent or compensation.

If you wish to request the removal of a specific image, please contact info@PrideVT.org and we will do our best to honor reasonable requests.

5. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the site or attendance at our events after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For questions about this policy, contact info@PrideVT.org.
